This course covers all aspects of creating and managing a successful Business Continuity policy and a Business Continuity Management programme in an organisation.

This BCI training course is delivered as a one day, live online training course by an approved BCI tutor. Scheduled breaks will be provided within each session. During the course, delegates will be able to use their microphones to take part in discussions and ask the tutor any questions, there is also the option to use a webcam too. Interactivity features used during the training may include the use of breakout sessions for group work, polls and quizzes.

Timings are indicative and exact timings may vary due to student experience and their interest in certain topics. The course may finish earlier if all topics have been covered.

Details & Programme

The Policy and Programme Management stage of the BCM Lifecycle is often where practitioners have to begin in any new role, and it is essential to regularly revisit and review in any existing role.

This course provides the continuity and resilience professional with the ability to identify key aspects of a successful policy and develop or revise one where required. Delegates will then learn how to use the BC policy to create, implement and manage the BCM programme as a part of building and improving organisational resilience.

This course is based on the BCI Good Practice Guidelines 2018 and reflects the current global thinking from ISO 22301.
