At the moment there have been no confirmed reports of specific cases where the security flaw has been used against people or devices.

Installing the latest updates on your phone can keep it safe from hackers. “Bugs in software are really common, it happens all the time. It’s not unusual for your phone to update to fix a problem,” said Robert Pritchard, founder of tech security service The Cyber Security Expert.

From a business continuity perspective, many businesses use Apple products, small and large companies, people working from home, freelancers and many other people! This is a huge security risk that could lead to ransomware attacks, which is why it is so important to keep up-to-date with security news and product updates.
