This week, Charlie is running incident management training for a school and provides a useful resource for preventing risks in schools.
Today, I am running critical incident response training and an exercise in a school, following on from the crisis management team’s exercise. I came across this quote from Amanda Coleman in her ‘Under Pressure Newsletter’, which I thought aptly summarised our training and exercise:
“It is not just about having a plan but about testing and refining it, and making sure that people have a crisis mindset and feel able to implement the plan at a moment’s notice.”
